Born and raised in California and moved to Dallas at 13. Leslie took an art class in high school in Texas and was inspired by her art teacher Mr. Green. During this time she painted portraits and designed sets for Theatre plays.

After getting married at 21 and having children she was fully immersed in taking care of her little ones. When her babies grew, Leslie would paint landscapes under the kitchen stove light after all of her children went to bed.

Several years later, experiencing the loss of her grandmother and a divorce, she read and was inspired by the book "The Artist's Way", she began to uncover her the passion for art from her childhood. During this time she healed through art and held her first art show in Richardson, Texas and sold out of everything. This propelled her into making custom commissioned paintings. 

 

Since then, Leslie has used several different mediums and techniques and has grown confidence in her work. Leslie has become a Reiki practitioner and she uses art to heal and help bring blessings to others. Currently, she is living in California with her dear husband Kevin, her 4 beautiful children and 2 cats. In her free time she is in her garden and has taken up sewing. Leslie finds inspiration traveling the country visiting National Parks and and historical places.
